Description/Job Summary


The holder of this position will be responsible for making appraisals as assigned and requested.


The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performs appraisals of properties being offered or held as collateral for association loans.
• Develops, analyzes, and updates supporting information used in the appraisal process, including detailing and documenting property information derived from field inspections.
• Selects, correlates, and applies proper appraisal method(s).
• Interacts with staff to ensure proper workflow and a high degree of accuracy in all work functions.
• Job requires good analytical, judgment, and communication skills, as well as knowledge of computer software applications.
• Other duties, as may be assigned.

Required Experience

• Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree.   
• Must meet all requirements and be licensed by the state, in good standing, as a Licensed Real Property Appraiser,  Certified Residential Real Property Appraiser or Certified General Real Property Appraiser.  Licensed and Certified Residential Real Property appraisers must be willing to pursue and obtain Certified General Real Property certification within 30 months of hire date.

Note: Additional requirements/commitments may be applicable if general appraisal certification must be obtained by candidate after hire date.
